AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3646
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3646 by replacing
everything after the enacting clause with the following:
"Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the
Township Reform and Accountability Act.
(35 ILCS 200/Art. 2 rep.)
Section 975. The Property Tax Code is amended by repealing
Article 2.
(60 ILCS 1/Act rep.)
Section 980. The Township Code is repealed.
(305 ILCS 5/Art. VI rep.)
Section 985. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
repealing Article VI.

Section 990. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by
repealing Article 6.
Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
1, 2022.".
