AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3288
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3288 by replacing
everything after the enacting clause with the following:
"Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Economic
Opportunity Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
is amended by adding Section 605-1115 as follows:
(20 ILCS 605/605-1115 new)
Sec. 605-1115. Technical assistance to regional
manufacturing partnerships. Subject to appropriation, the
Department shall develop a program of technical assistance in
support of regional manufacturing partnerships in
collaboration with the following:
(1) employer associations representing manufacturers;
(2) secondary and postsecondary institutions,
including public universities and community colleges; and
(3) workforce stakeholders, including local workforce
