AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1453
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1453 on page 11,
line 5, by deleting "or"; and
on page 11, line 9, by replacing "." with the following
"; or .
(3) charged for a violation of Section 11-601.5 of the
Illinois Vehicle Code or a similar provision of a local
ordinance when the defendant was operating a vehicle in a
designated school zone, designated construction zone, or
designated urban area."; and
on page 11, by replacing lines 10 through 14 with the
following:
"(q) (Blank). The provisions of paragraph (c) shall not
apply to a defendant charged with violating subsection (b) of
Section 11-601 of the Illinois Vehicle Code when the defendant
was operating a vehicle, in an urban district, at a speed in

excess of 25 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.".
