AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1042
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1042 by replacing
everything after the enacting clause with the following:
"Section 5. The Legislative Commission Reorganization Act
of 1984 is amended by adding Section 8A-21 as follows:
(25 ILCS 130/8A-21 new)
Sec. 8A-21. Mothers' lactation and wellness room. The
Architect of the Capitol, in conjunction with the Board of the
Office of the Architect of the Capitol and the Secretary of
State, shall designate at least one mothers' lactation and
wellness room in the State Capitol Building, the Howlett
Building, and the Stratton Building. The design and
specifications of the rooms shall comply with the
recommendations of the American Institute of Architects.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
