AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 682
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 682 by replacing
everything after the enacting clause with the following:
"Section 5. The Alcoholism and Other Drug Abuse and
Dependency Act is amended by adding Section 5-11 as follows:
(20 ILCS 301/5-11 new)
Sec. 5-11. Rate review; residential substance abuse
treatment providers. Within 30 days after the effective date of
this amendatory Act of the 100th General Assembly, the
Department shall complete a comprehensive rate review of all
residential substance abuse treatment providers who submitted
a request for a review and consolidation of American Society of
Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Level III.5 rates in State fiscal
year 2017 and whose requests for a review were denied.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
