AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 625
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 625 as follows:
on page 2, by replacing lines 16 through 18 with:
"A violation of this subsection is a Class A misdemeanor
when the driver, in committing the violation, is involved in an
accident that results in great bodily harm, permanent
disability, or disfigurement of another and the violation is a
proximate cause of the injury. A violation of this subsection
is a Class 4 felony when the driver, in committing the
violation, is involved in an accident that results in the death
of another and the violation is a proximate cause of the
death.".
