AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 68
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 68, AS AMENDED, in
Section 10, in Sec. 370c.1, by replacing subsection (l) with
the following:
"(l) In conjunction with its compliance examination
program conducted in accordance with the Illinois State
Auditing Act, the Auditor General shall undertake a review of
compliance by the Department and the Department of Healthcare
and Family Services with Section 370c and this Section. Any
findings resulting from the review conducted under this Section
shall be included in the applicable State agency's compliance
examination report. Each compliance examination report shall
be issued in accordance with Section 3-14 of the Illinois State
Auditing Act. A copy of each report shall also be delivered to
the head of the applicable State agency and posted on the
Auditor General's website.".
