came
to
the
Senate
in
2003;
and

WHEREAS,
Senator
Seymour
represents
District
28,

which
includes
all
or
portions
of
Crawford,
Harrison,

Ida,
Monona,
Pottawattamie,
and
Woodbury
counties;
and
8
WHEREAS,
Senator
Seymour
has
worked
on
a
variety
of
9
issues
and
has
served
on
a
wide
variety
of
standing
10
committees,
recently
including
the
Appropriations,
11
Economic
Growth/Rebuild
Iowa,
Human
Resources
12
(Ranking
Member),
Labor
and
Business
Relations,
Local
13
Government,
State
Government,
and
Veterans
Affairs

(Ranking
Member)
committees,
and
the
Agriculture
