331.390,
subsection
2,
Code
2021,
is

amended
by
adding
the
following
new
paragraph:

A
voting
member
of
the
governing

board
who
is
not
a
county
supervisor
or
a
county
supervisor’s

designee
shall
not
vote
on
matters
involving
a
region’s

expenditures.

the
members

the
general
assembly.

This
bill
relates
to
the
voting
members
of
a
governing
board

of
a
mental
health
and
disability
services
region.

The
bill
limits
the
voting
rights
of
the
voting
members

of
a
governing
board
so
that
only
a
county
supervisor
or
a
13
county
supervisor’s
designee
shall
have
the
authority
to
vote
14
on
matters
involving
a
mental
health
and
disability
services
15
region’s
expenditures.
