Section
1.
Section
35A.5,
subsection
15,
Code
2020,
is
1
amended
by
striking
the
subsection
and
inserting
in
lieu
2
thereof
the
following:

15.
Monthly,
create
and
provide
a
copy
of
a
roster
of
every
4
certificate
or
release
or
discharge
from
active
duty,
DD
form
5
214,
received
by
the
department
in
the
prior
month
to
the
6
county
commission
of
veteran
affairs
of
each
county
listed
on
7
the
roster.
The
roster
shall
include,
for
each
certificate
8
of
release
or
discharge
from
active
duty,
information
that
9
includes
the
name
of
the
military
member,
the
member’s
address
10
of
record
at
the
time
of
entrance
and
separation
from
active
11
duty,
and
the
member’s
county
of
residence
listed
on
the
12
certificate.

bill
requires
the
department
of
veterans
affairs

bill
provides
that
the
roster
include
the

the

the

county
of
residence.
