Section
1.
DIRECT
PRIMARY
CARE
AGREEMENTS

MEDICAID

MEMBERS
——
PILOT
PROGRAM.
The
department
of
human
services
2
shall
develop
and
oversee
a
pilot
program
beginning
January
3
1,
2021,
and
ending
December
31,
2022,
to
allow
Medicaid
4
members
in
specified
categories
to
receive
primary
care
health
5
services,
as
defined
in
section
135N.1,
through
a
direct
6
primary
care
arrangement,
with
the
Iowa
Medicaid
enterprise
7
acting
as
the
third-party
payor
for
such
services
utilizing
8
state-only
funds.
The
eligible
Medicaid
member
categories
9
shall
include
childless
adults
and
pregnant
women.
