COCKTAILS
BY
A
BEER
MANUFACTURER
AND
INCLUDING
EFFECTIVE
DATE
PROVISIONS.
BE
IT
ENACTED
BY
THE
GENERAL
ASSEMBLY
OF
THE
STATE
OF
IOWA:
Section
1.
Section
123.126A,
Code
2020,
is
amended
to
read
as
follows:
123.126A
Canned
cocktails
——
applicability
——
manufacture
.
1.
Unless
otherwise
provided
by
this
chapter
,
the
provisions
of
this
chapter
applicable
to
beer
shall
also
apply
to
canned
cocktails.
2.
Notwithstanding
any
provision
of
this
chapter
to
the
contrary,
a
manufacturer
of
beer
may
obtain
and
possess
alcoholic
liquor
from
the
division
for
the
purpose
of
manufacturing
canned
cocktails.

This

being
deemed
of
immediate
importance,
takes
effect
upon
enactment.
