dollars
per
recipient
by
providing
payments
for

expenses
and
rental
assistance
but
excluding
payments
for

rental
deposits
.

inclusion

this
explanation
does

constitute
agreement
with

substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
amends
the
provision
authorizing
expenditures

from
the
veterans
trust
fund
created
in
Code
section
35A.13
12
to
veterans
and
spouses
and
dependents
of
veterans
to
prevent
13
homelessness.
The
bill
provides
that
the
one-time
monetary
14
assistance
to
prevent
homelessness
is
to
provide
payments
15
for
hotel
expenses
and
rental
assistance
but
not
for
rental
16
deposits.
