  1  1    Section 1.  REPEAL.  2014 Iowa Acts, chapter 1123, section
  1  2 23, is repealed.
  1  3                           EXPLANATION
  1  4 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
  1  5 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly.
  1  6    In 2014, the general assembly amended Code section 321.187
  1  7 to allow the department of transportation to designate
  1  8 third=party testers to administer the driving skills tests
  1  9 required for a commercial driver's license. Under the terms of
  1 10 the legislation, the amended language is set to be repealed in
  1 11 2019. This bill repeals the future repeal provision.
