A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.

SECTION 3.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $           or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2023-2024 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2024-2025 to establish a pilot program to identify and purchase the outer shell of foreign agriculture small equipment tractors and attempt to retrofit engines to comply with Environmental Protection Agency standards.

The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of agriculture for the purposes of this Act.
