A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to THE HAWAII NONPROFIT CORPORATIONS ACT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 414D-109, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (a) to read as follows:
"(a)
After fixing a record date for a notice of a meeting, a corporation
shall prepare an alphabetical list of the names of all its members who are entitled
to notice of the meeting. The list shall
show the [address and] number of votes each member is entitled to vote
at the meeting. The corporation shall
prepare on a current basis through the time of the membership meeting a list of
members, if any, who are entitled to vote at the meeting, but not entitled to
notice of the meeting. This list shall
be prepared on the same basis and be part of the list of members."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
