A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to corrections.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Act 24,
Special Session Laws of Hawaii 2009, as amended by section 4 of Act 76, Session Laws of
Hawaii 2012, as amended by section 1 of Act 66, Session Laws of Hawaii 2013, as amended by section 1 of Act 15, Session
Laws of Hawaii 2015, is amended by amending section 3 subsection (d) to read as follows:
"(d) The commission shall cease to exist on December
1, [2019.] 2023."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
