A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO STATEWIDE SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2015-2016 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the department of the attorney general to provide statewide sexual assault services; provided that the sums appropriated shall be the sums necessary to increase the base budget of the department of the attorney general for statewide sexual assault services to $ per fiscal year.
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of the attorney general for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
