A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO GOVERNMENT REVENUES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 46, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§46- Grants-in-aid; report to the legislature. Twenty days prior to the convening of each regular session, each county that provides tax credits or tax exemptions shall submit a report to the legislature with a calculation of the revenues that the county did not receive as a result of each tax credit or tax exemption provided by the county in the preceding fiscal year."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2112.
