A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to the department of hawaiian home lands.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $         or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the appointment of an administrative monitor in the office of the auditor to assess the progress of the department of Hawaiian home lands in fulfilling its constitutional and legal duties.

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the office of the auditor for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2016.
