A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE AHA MOKU ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $        or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 for the administration and operational expenses of the aha moku advisory committee, including staff salaries, equipment and supplies, travel expenses of the aha moku advisory committee members and the executive director, community-based meeting coordination, and site visit costs.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $        or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 for community education on the administrative structure regarding the aha moku system and on natural and cultural resource management.

     SECTION 3.  The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.


     SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
