A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the twentieth representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The director of finance is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in the sum of $700,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary is appropriated for fiscal year 2015-2016 for the purpose of capital improvement projects for the twentieth representative district, as follows:
To be expended by the department of education:
A. Anuenue Hawaiian immersion school, Oahu
Plan, design, and construct a free-standing locker and shower room for sports teams and physical education classes.

Total funding $ 250,000
B. Anuenue Hawaiian immersion school, Oahu
Plan, design, and construct a covered play court.

C. Kaimuki high school, Oahu
Classroom modernization.
Breach the wall between classrooms H104 and H105 to install a doorway for disabled student access; Reroute electrical wiring; Install air conditioning in classroom H104.

D. Palolo elementary school, Oahu
Replacement of playground equipment.

SECTION 2. The appropriation made for the capital improvement projects authorized by this Act shall not lapse at the end of the fiscal biennium for which the appropriation is made; provided that all moneys from the appropriation unencumbered as of June 30, 2018, shall lapse as of that date.
SECTION 3. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
