A
RESOLUTION
Recognizing
the Boynton Bandits for winning the 2011 Dizzy Dean World Series Championship;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
through perseverance, countless hours of practice, and unyielding determination,
the Boynton Bandits earned the top ranking in this state with their victorious
outing at the 6U World Series Championship; and
WHEREAS,
this little league team from Ringgold, Georgia, won the 6U Dizzy Dean World
Series crown with a 12-4 win over Alabama's Northport National in the
championship round; and
WHEREAS,
the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding
athletic ability, the dedication and hard work, and the unity of purpose and
spirit of each member of the team; and
WHEREAS,
as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition,
it is abundantly proper to call them champions.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
congratulate the Boynton Bandits little league team for winning the 2011 Dizzy
Dean World Series Championship and extend their sincerest best wishes for future
success.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the Boynton Bandits.
