RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Ms. Rhonda Burch for outstanding contributions to public
education in the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Rhonda Burch is a highly respected educator in the Muscogee County School
System; and
WHEREAS,
the contributions and achievements of Ms. Burch have been recognized by her
selection as Teacher of the Year for Veterans Memorial Middle School;
and
WHEREAS,
nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young
people and Ms. Burch exemplifies the selfless dedication which is characteristic
of our finest educators; and
WHEREAS,
it is appropriate that this body join in expressing appreciation to Ms. Burch
for her efforts and accomplishments.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body hereby recognizes and
commends Ms. Rhonda Burch; extends its congratulations upon her selection as
Teacher of the Year; and expresses its gratitude for the great credit this
outstanding educator reflects upon her school and school system and the State of
Georgia.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Rhonda Burch.
