RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Ms. Keisha Cook for outstanding contributions to public education
in the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Keisha Cook is a highly respected educator in the Muscogee County School
System; and
WHEREAS,
the contributions and achievements of Ms. Cook have been recognized by her
selection as Teacher of the Year for Kendrick High School; and
WHEREAS,
nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young
people and Ms. Cook exemplifies the selfless dedication which is characteristic
of our finest educators; and
WHEREAS,
it is appropriate that this body join in expressing appreciation to Ms. Cook for
her efforts and accomplishments.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body hereby recognizes and
commends Ms. Keisha Cook; extends its congratulations upon her selection as
Teacher of the Year; and expresses its gratitude for the great credit this
outstanding educator reflects upon her school and school system and the State of
Georgia.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Keisha Cook.
