RESOLUTION
Commending
the 2010 Senate aide Joseph Leonard for his exemplary service; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
each year the Senate relies on the citizens of Georgia who are interested in the
legislative process to work as aides to the Senate committees and its
leadership; and
WHEREAS,
these individuals are from many varied backgrounds and from all areas of the
state and have demonstrated a commitment to ensuring the efficient and effective
administration of Senate committee hearings; and
WHEREAS,
the Georgia Senate has been very fortunate to have had the exceptional service
of Joseph Leonard as a legislative aide, whose work has been marked by a
devotion to helping citizens and a constant commitment to the highest standards
of excellence; and
WHEREAS,
Joseph's hard work and dedication have been enormous assets to the citizens of
Georgia, and all the members of the General Assembly greatly appreciate the
invaluable service of aides like Joseph who enable their business to run
smoothly and successfully.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
2010 Senate aide Joseph Leonard on his superb performance during the 2010
legislative session and convey to him best wishes for success and happiness in
his future pursuits.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution Joseph Leonard.
