RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Phuong Mai Hoang, outstanding student of Church Street Elementary
School; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Phuong Mai Hoang has been awarded the "Most Discipline" student award for the
2010 graduation class of Church Street Elementary School; and
WHEREAS,
she will receive this prestigious honor at the award ceremony to be held at the
Performing Arts Center in Jonesboro, Georgia, on Thursday, May 27, 2010;
and
WHEREAS,
Phuong Mai Hoang has shown by her example that the pursuit and attainment of
scholastic success are within the reach of students in this state;
and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable young scholar has earned distinction through her superlative
achievements at Church Street Elementary School, where she is a gifted student,
and has consistently demonstrated a respectful attitude and tremendous positive
behavior; and
WHEREAS,
each day, Phuong Mai Hoang comes to class prepared to work and completes all her
assignments, thereby setting an example for other children to follow;
and
WHEREAS,
Miss Hoang has personified the selfless dedication, mental agility, and personal
maturity necessary for superlative academic performance, and she is a shining
star and role model for other young people of Georgia to follow.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body heartily
commend Phuong Mai Hoang for her spectacular student performance and express
their most sincere best wishes for continued academic success in the
future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Phuong Mai Hoang.
