A RESOLUTION


Recognizing and commending Nigerian Ministries Fellowship on the occasion of its tenth anniversary; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, there is a bond of friendship between the citizens of Georgia and Nigeria, and the people of Georgia welcome opportunities to grow our already deep relationship at all levels, including cultural, academic, and business; and

WHEREAS, Nigerian Ministers Fellowship promotes and enhances the success of Nigerian ministers by sharing knowledge, tools, and experiences to provide leadership development, personal enrichment, and relationship building; and

WHEREAS, Nigerian Ministers Fellowship utilizes focused methods, missions, and mobilization strategies to strengthen churches, impact communities, and to further the Kingdom of God; and

WHEREAS, this amazing organization is a member of the Alliance of Nigerian Organizations in Georgia and is made up of 23 Nigerian ministries across the State of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, Nigerian Ministers Fellowship celebrates its tenth anniversary on July 17, 2010, marking ten years of spreading the Word of God and promoting community among Nigerian ministries; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding work of this fine organization and its numerous contributions to the citizens of this state be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend Nigerian Ministries Fellowship on the occasion of its tenth anniversary.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Nigerian Ministries Fellowship.
