A RESOLUTION


Recognizing and commending Mr. Andy Fowler; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mr. Andy Fowler has demonstrated his commitment to teaching the Gospel, witnessing Christ through word and deed, and addressing the physical, psychological, intellectual, and spiritual needs of others; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Fowler has been in the ministry for 28 years and has been the minister of music at First Baptist Church of Bremen, Georgia, since 2005 where he plans worship services and leads all music based programs for the church, including weekday preschool choir, youth choir, adult choir, senior adult choir, orchestra, and hand bells; and

WHEREAS, he is an active member of the Georgia Baptist Convention's Sons of Jubal and coaches Little League Baseball; and

WHEREAS, over the past 28 years leading, Mr. Fowler has established numerous programs and workshops which have improved the spiritual and educational growth of the church and the surrounding community; and

WHEREAS, the unmatched spiritual assistance offered by Mr. Fowler is a source of strength and direction for persons in all walks of life and from all economic strata; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this enduring example of God's message of peace and love be recognized and congratulated for his innumerable good works rendered on behalf of persons in need.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend Mr. Andy Fowler for his exemplary fellowship and leadership in the name of God and extend best wishes for many more years of successful fellowship and leadership.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Andy Fowler.
