RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Columbus, Georgia's Community Partners for helping to uplift the
lives of Ralston residents; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
numerous community partners have diligently and conscientiously devoted their
time, resources, and efforts to improving the lives of residents of the Ralston
in Columbus, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
the Ralston is a living facility for seniors and disabled individuals which
provides quality care and housing to Columbus's most vulnerable;
and
WHEREAS,
Columbus, Georgia's community partners have joined forces to give back to the
residents of Columbus and the Ralston through community service and outreach;
and
WHEREAS,
these outstanding corporate citizens include Unity with Pam, Lowes, Uptown
Columbus Association, Columbus Hospice, Cannel Nine WTVM, Magnolia Manor, Greg
Grice Photos, Wayne Gallup's, MRS Homecare, Home Medical Equipment of St.
Francis, Sun Bright Web Design, and WYBU-TV; and
WHEREAS,
the work done by the community partners in restoring the Ralston and assisting
the facility's residents is far reaching and impacts the entire city;
and
WHEREAS,
these amazing community partners have worked tirelessly to make Columbus better,
and their dedicated efforts are worthy of recognition.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Columbus, Georgia's Community Partners for helping to uplift the lives of
Ralston residents and all of Columbus.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution to each of Columbus, Georgia's
Community Partners.
