A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending John Hall, member of the State Championship Berry College Forensics Team; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, John Hall is an outstanding graduate of Chattooga High School, and despite serious physical limitations, he continues to demonstrate a strong competitive team spirit; and

WHEREAS, John Hall is currently a senior government major at Berry College and the newest team member to the Berry College Forensics Team; and

WHEREAS, this naturally skilled debator was critical to the Berry College Forensics Team and helped to clinch the state forensics championship and the forensics national championship for the teams' division; and

WHEREAS, by his optimistic and determined example, he has demonstrated that the pursuit and attainment of scholastic success is within the reach of the students in this state and has set an example for other Georgia students to follow; and

WHEREAS, in addition, this amazing student was the Forensics National Championship winner in the category of Impromptu Sales; and

WHEREAS, John Hall personifies the selfless dedication, mental agility, and personal maturity necessary for superlative forensics performance; and

WHEREAS, his incredible perseverance, dedication, and hard work and his many achievements has brought tremendous honor to his family, school, and the State of Georgia, and it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to recognize the extraordinary accomplishments, intellectual achievements, and unsurpassed commitment to excellence of such an outstanding individual.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body heartily commend John Hall for setting an example of excellence for Georgia students, congratulate him on his phenomenal performance as a member of the Berry College Forensics Team, and express to him their sincerest best wishes for continued academic success in the future.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to John Hall.
