RESOLUTION
Honoring
and celebrating the 95th birthday of Mrs. Dorothy Schmidt; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Dorothy Schmidt was born on March 20, 1914, and this year she celebrates
the distinct honor of her 95th birthday; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Schmidt serves as a proud and shining example of enduring love and
affection, and she has seen progeny grow and flourish; and
WHEREAS,
the devotion, patience, and understanding she has demonstrated have provided the
foundation and framework of success in which all of her family members have
obtained success and fulfilment; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Schmidt has given inspiration to many through her high ideals, morals, and
deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom which
only comes through experience and the strength of character which is achieved
through overcoming the many challenges of life; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, and by the example she has made
of her life, she makes this world a better place in which to live, and it is
only fitting and proper that she be appropriately recognized during this very
special and memorable time of her life.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join in commending Mrs. Dorothy Schmidt on the occasion of her 95th
birthday and wishing her many more years of happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mrs. Dorothy
Schmidt.
