WHEREAS, while in Georgia, Mr. Zegers has played an instrumental role in the construction of the National World War II Memorial, ensuring that the sacrifice of those who fought in that war would be remembered and cherished for generations to come.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Mr. Woodrow Zegers's efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the citizens of his country and family; and extend to him and his family their most profound appreciation for all members of the United States military who stand ever ready to lay the ultimate sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
