A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Ethan Burns Robertson; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Ethan Burns Robertson was born on August 28, 2007, to parents Bradley and Danica Robertson, distinguished citizens of the grand State of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, the name Ethan means strong and optimistic, solid and enduring, or permanent; and

WHEREAS, with a Hebrew origin, the name Ethan appears eight times in the Hebrew Bible, including references to Ethan the Ezrahite and the name of the cymbal player in King David's court; and

WHEREAS, Ethan is a very loving boy with a strong personality and physique, loves the outdoors and cutting grass with his dad, and is a huge fan of Mickey Mouse; and

WHEREAS, as every child is a miracle, the birth of Ethan Burns Robertson marked an occasion of exceptional joy for Ethan's parents and extended family, which includes his grandparents, Bobby and Marjorie Reese, the late Geraldine Teresa Burns, and George Robertson, Jr.; great-grandparents, David and Odessa Oberlander and the late J.T. Reese and Frieda Reese; and great-great-grandmothers, Sarah Mae Cantrell and Phyllis B. Darfus; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting that this body recognize that the birth of Ethan Burns Robertson is a wonderful and significant contribution to Georgia and that Ethan is a child who is destined to bring great happiness to the world and to those who are privileged to know him.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that this body heartily congratulates Bradley and Danica Robertson on being the proud parents of Ethan Burns Robertson, extends this child the best of wishes for his life ahead, and wishes this young Georgian a long and happy life.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the proud parents of Ethan Burns Robertson.
