RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Anna Aigner-Muehler, Forsyth County's 2012 Teacher of the Year;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most
important objective of the General Assembly; and
WHEREAS,
nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young
people, and Anna Aigner-Muehler exemplifies the selfless dedication which is
characteristic of our finest educators; and
WHEREAS,
a graduate of Forsyth County schools, Anna Aigner-Muehler received her
bachelor's degree from Agnes Scott College and her master's degree from Leslie
University; and
WHEREAS,
she began teaching as a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in Austria and joined
Forsyth Central High School in 2000; and
WHEREAS,
Anna Aigner-Muehler is a highly respected educator in the Forsyth County School
System, dedicating her time, talents, and energy to challenging and inspiring
the future leaders of this state; and
WHEREAS,
she has earned distinction for teaching excellence as a result of her dedication
to the students of Forsyth Central High School, where she has been honored as
the 2012 Teacher of the Year; and
WHEREAS,
the devotion to providing the students of Georgia with a quality education
demonstrated by Anna Aigner-Muehler is worthy of recognition.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily commend Anna Aigner-Muehler, Forsyth County's 2012 Teacher of
the Year, and express to her their most sincere best wishes for continued
success in the future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Anna
Aigner-Muehler.
