RESOLUTION
Commending
Leadership Paulding 21; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
established 21 years ago, Leadership Paulding is a community based organization
committed to identifying, educating, and training a diverse mix of community
leaders to meet the challenges of today with the solutions of tomorrow;
and
WHEREAS,
Leadership Paulding 21 is the 21st class of Leadership Paulding and is composed
of Paulding County business and community leaders united to build a better
community for everyone in the region and committed to the common good of serving
the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
since Leadership Paulding's creation by the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce,
the program has had over 500 participants; and
WHEREAS,
members of Leadership Paulding 21 are committed to the organization's goals of
identifying and selecting emerging and existing leaders in the county, educating
and informing these leaders about major community issues, assisting these
leaders in developing and enhancing their skills and abilities, and inspiring
and providing opportunities for them to lead their communities; and
WHEREAS,
Leadership Paulding 21 consists of the following leaders: Paul Callahan, Amanda
Carman, Cliff Cole, Anthony Edwards, Melanie Elliott, Marcia Evans, Tim
Fernandez, Scott Greene, Sandra Guy, Tammy Hill, Vicky Hogue, James Kelly, Nina
Lauter, Justin Ragsdale, Josh Rakestraw, Will Rakestraw, Monica Rydza, Bart
Shaw, Samantha Shears, Jana Stegall, Mike Tomlin, Robyn Tumlin, and Judy
Westmoreland; and
WHEREAS,
through its many project initiatives, Leadership Paulding 21 has distinctively
served the community and citizens of Paulding County and the many businesses and
nonprofit organizations of the
county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the efforts of Leadership Paulding 21 to make Paulding County a better place to live and work.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Leadership
Paulding 21.
