RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Evansdale Elementary School; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Evansdale Elementary School has been awarded a Superintendent's Distinguished
Achievement Award from Georgia State School Superintendent Kathy Cox;
and
WHEREAS,
this prestigious distinction recognizes Evansdale as one of the top ten schools
in Georgia for the greatest number of students exceeding state standards on the
CRCT; and
WHEREAS,
at Evansdale, students are treated as valued individuals with unique physical,
social, emotional, and intellectual needs; and
WHEREAS,
the teachers, administration, and staff of Evansdale work diligently and
conscientiously to ensure students have access to the training and resources
necessary to succeed and foster positive relationships and mutual respect;
and
WHEREAS,
by creating a safe and respectful learning environment, Evansdale enables
students to learn with confidence, experience success, and achieve their maximum
potential; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia takes great pride in the diligent study and preparation
taken by the students of Evansdale and looks forward in anticipation to the
great achievements this school will accomplish in the future.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Evansdale Elementary School on earning the Superintendent's
Distinguished Achievement Award and recognize the excellent contributions of the
students and staff in making their school superior.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Evansdale
Elementary School.
