BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 50-18-72 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to exemptions to requirements for disclosure of public records, so as to provide
for an exemption to open records requirements for certain records maintained by
the Department of Early Care and Learning; to provide for related matters; to
repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 50-18-72 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
exemptions to requirements for disclosure of public records, is amended in
subsection (a) by adding a new paragraph to read as follows:
"(13.3)
Records of the Department of Early Care and Learning that would reveal the home
address or telephone number, personal e-mail address, social security number,
insurance or medical information, or employment history of employees and of
applicants for employment of early care and education
programs."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
