Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 1 of Title 35 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding law enforcement officers and agencies, so as to require that a mental or behavioral health professional be present at any law enforcement officer's interview of an individual with autism or an autism spectrum disorder in certain circumstances; to require policies of law enforcement agencies; to provide that violations of such requirements shall not be the basis for suppression of evidence or a cause of action; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
