A BILL to be entitled an Act to revise provisions relating to the regulation of transportation for hire; to amend Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to motor vehicles, so as to clarify inspections of limousine carriers; to provide for the registration of taxi services; to amend Code Section 48-8-3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to exemptions from sales and use taxes, so as to revise an exemption; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
