    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to economic development; amending s.
    3         288.1045, F.S.; extending the expiration date by which
    4         an applicant may not be certified as qualified under
    5         the section; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Subsection (7) of section 288.1045, Florida
   10  Statutes, are amended, to read:
   11         288.1045 Qualified defense contractor and space flight
   12  business tax refund program.—
   13         (7) EXPIRATION.—An applicant may not be certified as
   14  qualified under this section after June 30, 2018 2014. A tax
   15  refund agreement existing on that date shall continue in effect
   16  in accordance with its terms.
   17         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2016.
