    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act;
    3         amending s. 386.209, F.S.; limiting state preemption
    4         of the regulation of smoking to indoor smoking;
    5         providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Section 386.209, Florida Statutes, is amended to
   10  read:
   11         386.209 Regulation of indoor smoking preempted to state.
   12  This part expressly preempts regulation of indoor smoking to the
   13  state and supersedes any municipal or county ordinance on the
   14  subject.
   15         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
