1                        A bill to be entitled 
2         An act relating to bridge designations; designating 
3         the Trooper Ronald Gordon Smith Memorial Bridge in 
4         Citrus County; directing the Department of 
5         Transportation to erect suitable markers; providing an 
6         effective date.

8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 
9 
10         Section 1. Trooper Ronald Gordon Smith Memorial Bridge 
11  designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable 
12  markers.— 
13         (1) The bridge on U.S. Highway 19/98 in Citrus County at 
14  the Cross Florida Barge Canal is designated as the “Trooper 
15  Ronald Gordon Smith Memorial Bridge.” 
16         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect 
17  suitable markers designating the Trooper Ronald Gordon Smith 
18  Memorial Bridge as described in subsection (1). 
19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
