    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to transportation facility
    3         designations; providing an honorary designation of a
    4         certain transportation facility in a specified county;
    5         directing the Department of Transportation to erect
    6         suitable markers; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. SPC Zachary L. Shannon Memorial Highway
   11  designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
   12  markers.—
   13         (1) That portion of Alternate U.S. 19/Bayshore
   14  Boulevard/Edgewater Drive between Orange Street and Orangewood
   15  Drive in Pinellas County is designated as “SPC Zachary L.
   16  Shannon Memorial Highway.”
   17         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   18  suitable markers designating SPC Zachary L. Shannon Memorial
   19  Highway as described in subsection (1).
   20         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2023.
