9 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |

11 | Section 1. Section 1006.0608, Florida Statutes, is created |
12 | to read: |
13 | 1006.0608 Student nutrition enhancement.- |
14 | (1) This section may be cited as the "Student Nutrition |
15 | Enhancement Act." |
16 | (2) Each district school board may sell the naming rights |
17 | for a public school cafeteria through a contract for sale. The |
18 | requirements pertaining to a contract for sale and name display |
19 | shall be established by the district school board. Revenue |
20 | generated by a contract for sale shall be used by the district |
21 | school board to enhance the school district's school food |
22 | service budget and to meet the nutritional needs of students. |
23 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011. |
