       Senator Joyner moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (902964) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Delete lines 2455 - 2458
    5  and insert:
    6  represent the individual if the individual person who is the
    7  subject of a mental illness the petition and the office of
    8  criminal conflict and civil regional counsel to represent the
    9  individual if the individual is the subject of a substance abuse
   10  petition, unless the individual person is otherwise represented
   11  by counsel. The clerk of the court shall immediately notify the
   12  public defender or the office of criminal conflict and civil
   13  regional counsel of the appointment. The public defender or the
