       The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Polsky) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 91
    4  and insert:
    5  subject to confirmation by the Senate. Such member, whether
    6  appointed or reappointed to the commission, must appear for his
    7  or her Senate confirmation hearing. The committee conducting
    8  such confirmation hearing may subpoena the member pursuant to s.
    9  11.143(3)(a). One member appointed by

   13         Delete line 5
   14  and insert:
   15         F.S.; requiring certain members that are appointed or
   16         reappointed to the Commission on Ethics to appear for
   17         their confirmation hearing; authorizing the committee
   18         conducting the hearing to subpoena such member;
   19         prohibiting a member of the commission
