       Senator Evers moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 146 and 147
    4  insert:
    5         Section 4. Subsection (3) of section 458.3485, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         458.3485 Medical assistant.—
    8         (3) CERTIFICATION.—Medical assistants may be certified by
    9  the American Association of Medical Assistants or as a
   10  Registered Medical Assistant by the American Medical
   11  Technologists.

   14  And the title is amended as follows:
   15         Delete line 22
   16  and insert:
   17         expiration; amending s. 458.3485, F.S.; deleting a
   18         provision specifying entities authorized to certify or
   19         register medical assistants; providing an effective
   20         date.
