       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Simpson) recommended the

    1         Senate Amendment

    3         Delete lines 14 - 18
    4  and insert:
    5  Appropriations Act, the department may contract, in accordance
    6  with s. 985.644, with the PACE Center for Girls, a nonprofit
    7  organization exempt from taxation pursuant to s. 501(c)(3) of
    8  the Internal Revenue Code, to provide alternatives to
    9  institutionalization or commitment for girls and young women
   10  through services including, but not limited to, education,
   11  counseling, training,
