       The Committee on Appropriations (Richter) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1055 and 1056
    4  insert:
    5         Section 15. Section 655.955, Florida Statutes, is created
    6  to read:
    7         655.955 Liability of financial institution to third
    8  parties.—A financial institution is not civilly liable to a
    9  third party for the actions or operations of a person solely by
   10  virtue of extending a loan or a line of credit to such person.
   11

   13  And the title is amended as follows:
   14         Delete line 57
   15  and insert:
   16         and desist orders; creating s. 655.955, F.S.;
   17         providing that a financial institution is not civilly
   18         liable solely by virtue of extending credit to a
   19         person; amending s. 657.008, F.S.;
